Our Mission

We do what we do with the sole purpose of bringing the highest quality of personal care to individuals and families. Our caregivers and our management team have the single minded objective of keeping our clients comfortable and safe. We want to see relief in the eyes of a loved one when they choose Bay Area Home Care as the caregiver for their family or friends.

We are based out of Mountain View. Our management team lives and works in the same community as our clients. We are proud members of local Chambers of Commerce and various other community organizations. Our reputation rests on our work. We make sure our service is par excellence.

Our Team

Joyce Spiegel

Director of Community Relations 
Joyce has worked with the Senior Care Community for over 15 years. She worked for the Council on Aging (now Sourcewise) for 10 years as Project Manager helping seniors with daily living such as housing, medical care, legal advice and help at home. She transitioned into home care in July of 2012 working for Bay Area Home Care as Director of Community Relations and Marketing Support. She is driven by her passion to provide support services for clients who wish to remain independent and enjoy their life while remaining in their home.

Allie Valesco

Office Manager

Allie is the newest member of Bay Area Home Care’s office management team. She joined the company in the Spring of 2015. Before transitioning to the role of Office Manager Allie was a caregiver for 13 years. Allie graduated from Bryman College in the Medical Assistance program in 2005. She is presently attending University of Phoenix for a Bachelor’s in Health Administration. The healthcare business is not only a career choice for Allie but a passion as well. She loves going to work every day knowing that her job is helping her clients live a higher quality of life.

Our Caregivers

We select very carefully who joins our team of caregivers. We look for caregivers who are passionate about the care they provide and their client’s welfare. All our caregivers go through an extensive screening process, a nationwide criminal background check and reference checks before they are hired.

Our caregivers come with experience in the home care industry and they are professionally licensed. All of our caregivers are W-2 employees, bonded and insured. We require a minimum of 1 year experience in the homecare industry. Most of our caregivers are trained and certified as Medical Assistants, Nursing Assistants, RNs or Vocational Nurses. Our screening process is very rigorous. Less than 10% of those that apply make it through to join our team.
